Chicken Gyro Bowl
Al Safa’s Chicken Gyro Slices used to make a Gyro Bowl!! The best part is you get to use whatever toppings you want!!
Equipment
- Food Processor
- InstaPot
Ingredients
IP Yellow Rice
- 1 ½ cup Paraboiled Basmati Rice
- 3 cups Water
- 2 Bay Leaves
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- 1 ½ tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder
- 3 tbsp Oil
Taziki Sauce
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- ¼ cup Mayo
- ¼ cup Cucumber, finely chopped
- ¼ cup Fresh Dill, finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Salt
Gyro Bowl
- 1 Box Al Safa's Chicken Gyro Slices
- Any toppings you'd like!
Instructions
IP Yellow Rice
- Turn InstaPot on saute feature.
- Mix together oil and rice.
- Add in seasoning, mix well.
- Add in water.
- Close the lid and press rice button for 12 minutes on high pressure.
- Quick Release, your rice is complete!
Taziki Sauce
- In a food processor, puree the cucumber, garlic, salt, sour cream and mayo, mix together.
- Add in the dill and pulse a few times together.
- Place in a glass jar and refrigerate a few hours before using.
Gyro Bowl Assembly
- Cook Al Safa's Chicken Gyro Slices as per cooking instructions on product box.
- In a large bowl, add your Yellow Rice.
- Add Chicken Gyro Slices in your preference (left whole, in small pieces, etc.)
- Add any toppings of your choosing (here we added feta cheese, olives, cherry tomatoes, cubed cucmbers, cut pit bread, pickled red onions, cilantro)
- Mix well and add taziki sauce. Enjoy!
